Meet Your Host, Ryc Brownrigg
Hey there! I’m Ryc Brownrigg, and I’m the ultimate tech enthusiast, inventor, and entrepreneur! You could say I have a bit of a knack for identifying emerging technologies and bringing them to useful life. From my humble beginnings with a degree in explosives engineering (yes, you read that right) to my current journey toward a Master’s degree in blockchain, I’ve always been fascinated by the next big thing.
Over the years, I’ve worked on some pretty awesome projects, from starting the first internet service by a hardware provider (Gateway, Inc.), to creating the first large-scale consumer video streaming serviceplatform (Horizon Go). My team and I even won an Emmy for our work on the first downloadable subscription product with Tier One video content from Disney and Sony (Vongo).
But it’s not just about the projects or me. It’s about the people behind them. I’m passionate about finding and amplifying those who are doing innovative work in the latest emerging and disruptive technologies.
